Ken and Karissa's Wedding

Well, it finally happened. One of my dearest friends Ken got married. Karissa is the perfect wife for him. She is smart, funny, kind, and successful. I was beside myself with happiness for this awesome couple. I didnt want to work during this wedding. I just wanted to enjoy it for a change. But if you know me at all, then you know that I could not go to this wedding without my camera. So I captured some candid moments when I could. Their first dance made me cry. Then when Karissa danced with her dad, forget it, I was done for. I think my face still hurts from smiling all day. I was so happy to be there on this special day. Congratulations you guys. I love you both.

Danielle and Jason married on a beautiful winter day

When Danielle told me she wanted an outdoor wedding in February, I just hoped for the best. Even in the morning of the big day, the rain was pouring down. But suddenly the skies cleared and it was gorgeous for the rest of the day. What a beautiful wedding it was! With the help of her maid of honor and sister in law Courtney (who I think should become a wedding planner) the day was perfect. From the linens to the individual cheesecakes, everything was fabulous.

Blogging, Blogging, Blogging

I know, I havnt blogged in a really long time. I think I have a love hate relationship with the idea of a blog. I dont know why, but I just agonize over it.

I did a really neat traditional Hmong wedding a couple weeks ago.
It was so much fun to photograph. Here are just a few quick shots.
